The Second City Family-Friendly Improv Showdown

The Second City’s Improv Showdown is a hilarious, interactive holiday show the whole family will love!

Looking for a scene with a puppy, the Grinch and a thousand-pound turkey? In this type of show that’s 50% improvised and 50% scripted, anything can happen! Two teams of top-notch improvisers and high-energy characters will compete in a winner-takes-all comedy face-off in our 250-seat cinema. Audience volunteers will help choose the winning team by shouting out a few fun and zany performance suggestions as the two teams vie it out to become the comedy champions!

In addition to hosting 15 performances of The Second City’s Improv Showdown, throughout the month of December we’ll be playing everyone’s favourite holiday movies, like A Christmas Story, Elf and Home Alone, in the screening room! We’ll also be celebrating the festive season with merry installations, including a giant gingerbread house, magical holiday lights and a glistening Christmas tree!

For little ones, our 3,000 square foot play centre will provide a variety of fun and festive hands-on activities, from arts and crafts to games, plus a sports court, toys and books, four video game consoles and a big screen TV for movie time.
